The illustration concept for this mug has been in my head for some time and has been fun to see it come to life. Making this piece was a labor of love and curiosity: with all the hand-cut stencils, layering, and color mixing, it took a lot of time. Seeing all the colors emerge after the final firing process is always a surprise.
